Brilliant! How about also starting up a collection of new ads from different parts of the world?
Here is one, which I've uploaded onto YouTube (it's for a Brazilian beer):

The vintage commercials and ads are great. I try to feature similar items on my blog with a slightly different spin. Seems we have a kindred interest in the old and unique. Keep up the great blogging work! I know it isn't easy.

one thing about google videos, is when you've downloaded them to play within your blog, you can't "customize the text" like change the size, font + color or anything. if you try to edit it at all, the whole video is deleted from your blog. that's what happened to me. i like the look + size of the google video better than youtube though.
can you tell me how to copy videos from websites onto google video? there's a nice one about the history of eletrolux vacuums on electrolux. com + one about the palais bulle pierre cardin house on a french tv site. do i need a special software? are you on vacation?

hello Bibi, thanks f0r sharing these w0ndrous commercials. will check them out t0morrow...^^
as for what you said: i totally agree.
i think John berger was right -on when he said that publicity and ads work by stealing our self-love (love for who and what we are) and offers it back to us for the price of the producT. the buyer bec0mes disatisfied with his life , not society but his life WITHIN society.
i'm all for nice commercials and ads but i also understand that most of the ads these days wanna show that freedom to be happy and fulfilled is the same as freedom to acquire and choose what y0u will buY.
again, thank y0u~~~
