William Blake’s poem + animation + São Paulo + Brazilian artist = I needed to post this: Tyger. It’s a short film directed by Guilherme Marcondes, based on “The Tyger” poem, using the chaotic urban landscape of São Paulo as a background. Using puppetry, photography, and animation the film tells the story of a giant tiger roaming through the streets and transforming the city in a jungle. The story is all about relating city to jungle and people to animals. Wonderful! (via Drawn!)
PS.: I live in São Paulo, but don’t worry, I’m fine. It’s not the end of the world and the media like to make the things look bigger than they really are.
Hei, alguém mais sabe os lugares por onde o tigre passa? Os que eu consegui idenficar foram: Playcenter, Marginal do Tietê, Paulista, Estádio do Pacaembu, Marginal Pinheiros e pico do Jaraguá;
