How many times in your life did you see a blue lobster? According to the Gulf of Maine Institute, a blue lobster occurs once in every 3 to 4 million lobsters. This is the first time I saw one, so I think that Mr. Blu Genes – it’s his name – deserves his own entry. (via i-pets)

Cool! I just bought a Blue Lobster for my aquarium, but it’s really a blue freshwater crayfish.. but it looks sooooo neat, all blue and small! From what I’ve read, these blue crayfish can get up to 5 inches in length! Pretty cool. I’ll take some pictures and post them on my blog at some point. ^_^
Yours is the best real Blue Lobster pic I’ve seen on the web! Is it my imagination, or is Mr. Genes posing on a red satin sheet?!
Ah, she’s not my, as you can see I just “got” the image from the site of the news about it. And yes, she’s beautiful. (I prefer call it her, since it’s a girl – Lagosta – in Portuguese). Yes, I think that Mr. Blu Genes was making a pose.
