C'era una volta il West
Another collection of soundtracks from popular and unknown films:
Flickhead wishes Bonne année with songs by Michel Legrand. There are I Love Paris and After the Rain, featuring Legrand’s theme to Welles’s Vérités et mensonges” also know as F is for Fake (that can be downloaded via torrent). Since you are there, see if you can help him with Legrand’s songs from other films and enjoy the A nook for Anouk with the beautiful soundtrack of “Un homme et une femme“, composed by Francis Lai still available to download.
Planet Xtabay posted at Return of Magnificent Seven the soundtrack of “The Magnificent Seven“, the American version of “Seven Samurai“, composed by Elmer Bernstein.
At Rato Records I found five soundtracks that are still available to download in the last posts. Starting with Howard Hawks’ “Hatari!” brilliantly composed by Henry Mancini, through the classic Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange“, the marvellous Sergio Leone’s film “Once Upon A Time In The West” composed by Ennio Morricone, going to the non-sense parody to the James Bond films “Casino Royale” with music by Burt Bacharach and finishing with Michael Curtiz’ “Young Man with a Horn” with Kirk Douglas, Lauren Bacall and Doris Day.
RecordBrother posted groovy songs from films of 60’s and 70’s. Say What has the soundtrack of the 1963’s film “Johnny Cool“, with Henry Silva and Elizabeth Montgomery, and composed by Billy May. The second, Willie D & Me, has “Willie Dynamite” with the original music by J.J. Johnson.
Sounds of Champaign posted some time ago the soundtrack of Bruce Lee’s film Fist Of Fury, but the Original Soundtrack, composed by Joseph Koo, still available to download.
