One more item for my impossible wish list: Animaatiokone. It is an installation built of a potato peeling machine, a laptop PD and pinball machine buttons. The goal is to make the claymation easier in six steps: create your actor; put the hands inside the dome; frame and take a picture; move the actor and capture more frames using the onion-skinning view; view the animation; dub a sound and save the animation. Piece of cake, no? Now I just need of talent.
Animaatiokone has another, and faster, solution, the Animaatiokone Studio. It’s a tool to created stop motion animation with a camera and a PC. You just need to take anything you want to animate, put it in front of a camera and get started. Do you prefer see the animations than make them? Ok, visit the Movies page. (via wmmna)
