Les, merci pour le parole… but I usually translate the songs lyrics directly to Portuguese, I don’t know if it’s all right. My French is good enough to recognize many things and understand the lyrics, but not make a translation.

Thanks for your nice comment. I have to say that I like the dark lyrics of Mylène I like of most of her songs and just discovered Alizée via blowupdoll blog. I’m glad that you liked the post.

Thanks for the Marianne faithful vid link. I’m old enougth to remember her back in those days, and that song is my fave. A shy (looking) young singer she may have been – innocent english rose she certainly wasn’t. She was rather lovely though.

Great selection. I especially liked the Alysee: J’en ai marre. It is a lot less dark than Mylene Farmer (who I worshipped in my teens in in France and still like listening to if I am in the mood for beautiful morbid, dark lyrics). I had a good time going through and hearing your pics. Thanks!
