    That would probably be because A) These issues really weren’t that hot outside of extremely small circles, B) Most women didn’t (and still don’t beyond lip service, if even that) care much about them, and C) What most of us have been taught about the state of women’s lives prior to the fifties or so is naught save pure BS anyway.
