3,000 downloads in two weeks on bfi free video clips

Our New Errand Boy Looks very jolly

The Creative Archive Licence Group says:

The British Film Institute is delighted to report that the first four clips it made legally available under the Creative Archive Licence at launch on 13th April have already attracted more than 3,000 downloads.

The bfi plans to release further moving image material from the bfi National Film and Television Archive over the course of the 18-month pilot

The most popular videos from bfi website are: Looks very jolly, doesn’t it?, over a third of the total downloads, Our New Errand Boy, downloaded more than 1000 times and a 1913 version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, downloaded more than 500 times in just under two weeks.
