The Magnificent Ambersons is site dedicated to that masterpiece directed by the great Orson Welles. The site is has a lot of information a more cool stuff about the film. It is a wonderful site to visit.
And inspired on that great find of Bitter Cinema I searched for more about Orson Welles, for my favourite film Citizen Kane. You can find thousands of pages about this fantastic movie, but I find some that I enjoyed. I usually don’t like the reviews that I find on-line, but I found this one about Citizen Kane that I liked.
If you want to know more about Welles’ life, biography, his works on radio, see some photos and, of course, read some more about Citizen Kane, this site can help. You can try Orson Welles – The Man and His Genius also and curious people can see some images of the storyboard of the movie.
Plus: visit The battle over Citizen Kane is a page of the PBS documentary about the whole process and problems that Welles had to release the film and the aggressive reaction of William Hearst. If you can, watch the documentary, it is very good (I saw it).
And still talking about Welles, I have a post about his radio program The Mercury Theatre on the Air.
