Without revolutionary form there is not revolutionary art, Mayakovsky
Vladimir Mayakovsky was one of those great man that can do everything well. He wrote poems, plays and essays; he was graphic artist, photographer, work with the cinema, theater, but above all, he was a revolutionary. Mayakovsky was one of the first to use the photo-montage and experiments with typography in books. Mayakovsky dedicated his life to the socialism, but the disillusion of his dream leave him to the suicide.

Does anyone know the full text of Mayakovsky’s saying re: ‘poetry, the most carrion-eatingest piece of thing, exists, and there’s nothing to be done about it’. I know it in russian but don’t remember where it came from.
